A Sam Zone Blitz can come at you from 2 different places. The first one is simple, just like the Mike Zone Blitz, the Sam Linebacker blitzes the gap that he is responsible for on the snap. The Strong Side End will play run. If the End determines it is pass, he drops to the curl of #1. He will not get all the way there, we just want him to sprint there to make the QB have to throw the ball over his head.

The second Sam Zone Blitz can attack the outside. The responsibilities are the same, just that Sam is coming off the corner and the Strong Side End has "C" Gap responsibilities.
